Personal statement.

Becoming a hairstylist has truly been a happy coincidence. It started as constantly changing my own hair color, dabbling with makeup and new hairstyles. After starting cosmetology school I quickly fell in love with color theory. Now, years have passed and I've become so passionate about the entire industry. Lightening gives me a special high, color gives me butterflies and making someone feel beautiful is euphoric for me. Being a blonde at heart, I naturally gravitate towards blondes. A classic foil or the newest balayage trend, I'm really not picky. The brighter the better but a simple gloss can change everything, even your mood. With my mom being a teacher, education is in my blood. I really believe you can never learn too much. I am always on top of what the new trends are and what classes are in the area. As a stylist, I hope every client leaving my chair feels confident and refreshed. Clients are so much more than a project or a job to me. As much as I love trying a new technique  or completely transforming someones style, starting a relationship means so much more to me. I never want clients to feel like getting their hair done is a chore. It should be the same feeling as drinking wine with your childhood best friend just with an amazing blowout at the end. So, when is our next date?
